Cedrick nodded his head as she stepped out of his car and seemed okay, “Alright, okay tot drive?” he asked, hoping she was feeling good, and hopefully didn’t feel the need to lie about it. He eyed his arcade, expecting to see the cat taunting him in the window, but nothing showed up anywhere he looked.

Ari looked down at herself then at him, "yeah, I feel like I can drive." She smiled then followed his gaze, trying not laugh when she realized he was probably hoping to spot the cat. "How long do we have to catch it?" She asked, figuring they had to get it all said and done before the opening but she hadn't paid attention to when that would be.

“I don’t open for a least two weeks.” Cedrick had several other things to line up before opening day, at least they had some time to try and catch the creature. “I’m not too worried about it, as long as the cat stops causing damage.” If he had to replace more wiring, he was going to start pulling out his hair.

Ari nodded, two weeks, that could be doable, or at least she'd make it work. She grimaced a little at the picture of how much damage a cat could do in a place like an arcade. "Well, we'll get it." She smiled up at him as she fished her keys from her pockets.

Cedrick nodded his head, not concerned in the least about it, but figured if he didn’t catch the culprit overnight, there were plenty of days to do so. “Safe travels home.” He said, though he kept his mouth shut from offering to drive behind her, not wanting to come across as a creep or a stalker.

Ari nodded, "yeah, thank you for everything today, I promise next time I won't hurt myself." She joked before heading over to her truck, feeling a small ache in her head but brushed it aside, looking forward to going home and maybe taking the chance to relax since most of her chores, thanks to Cedrick, were done.

“Hopefully so, you only have one more attempt to impress me.” Cedrick teased, having no problem with Ari at all. She was hardworking, had dreams and goals, and was working towards them. Head bump or not, he didn’t need a second opinion, it was already made, and he had no plans to change his thoughts.

Ari laughed, looking back at him over her shoulder. "I'll do my best!" She unlocked her truck and climbed inside, staring it up and heading back towards home.

Cedrick didn’t head inside till she was down the road and out of sight before he headed inside to tackle the trap, and hope he caught the culprit.
