Lillianna looked up and down the hallway in the school, making sure it was empty before she ran from the doorway of an empty classroom to another doorway, this one belonging to a bathroom. She had tried to stick it out in the classes, tried to get into learning, but she was bored and would rather be at the mall. Once she found her way out of the school that’s where she was headed, planning to chill out there instead of dying of boredom in class. She made her way from the bathroom doorway to the nearest exit and hid behind the bush right outside, planning to make a mad dash to the parking lot and hoped no one saw her.

While Lillianna was darting around the halls and doing her best sneaky spy impression Ben had opted on a more direct route. He had just...not gone to class. He absolutely hated math and he wasn't going to force himself to sit through it when none of it made sense. If anyone saw him walking out they didn't say anything and he didn't put a lot of effort into hiding as he walked outside, movement catching the corner of his eye when he saw a girl run outside and hide as if she was being chased. He raised an eyebrow, walking towards the bush and took a drag off of his vape. "If you're trying to be sneaky, you suck."

Lillianna whipped her head to face Ben, narrowing her eyes at him before grabbing him by the arm and pulling him behind the bush, just in time for a teacher to walk by. Once the teacher walked around the corner, she stood up, “Your welcome.” Was all she said before she headed out for the parking lot. Even if she was being extra cautious, she didn’t want to even be seen by a teacher in case it somehow got back to her dad.

Ben grunted in surprise when she pulled him behind the bush, about to snap at her and ask if she was crazy when a teacher walked by. He looked after the teacher then back at Lillianna, seeing her standing up. He scoffed and got up, brushing himself off. "They're probably gonna notice that your car is gone Princess."

Lillianna looked over her shoulder with a raised eyebrow at him, “Yeah? And you would know?” She wasn’t sure if they did keep track of the students’ cars, but this wasn’t the first time she had skipped class successfully. She did stop short in the parking lot though, looking around to see if there were any teachers, but didn’t see any. She turned back to him, “Where are you skipping class to?” She asked, knowing he had to be skipping, but he was lame if it was just to stay on campus.

"Yeah, I would." Ben shrugged, knowing that a few of his friends had been caught that way since he couldn't be caught because his parents didn't care enough to offer him a car or even a bike to get around on. He figured this girl would take off after this and he'd be left to his own devices-until she opened her mouth again. He frowned, shrugged his shoulders, "wherever I want to go."

“Well, I haven’t been caught with my car missing,” Lillianna wasn’t sure if it was because she hadn’t registered her car to the school yet, or because no one actually cared. “Well, if you want to join me at the mall, you’re welcome to tag along.” She shrugged, not caring if he came along or not, but the mall was more fun with more people. “Lillianna, by the way. Lilly for short.” She offered her name in case he was hesitant about who she was.

Ben frowned at Lillianna-Lily-wondering why the hell she would ask him to come to the mall with her when they had just met, it didn't make any sense but it would be a good way to get into town. "Okay." He shrugged before following after her. "I'm Ben."

Lillianna unlocked her car, sliding into the driver’s side and tossing her backpack into the back seat. “Alright Ben, what class were you skipping?” she asked as she buckled in, then turned on her car before backing out, not waiting for him to be buckled in, though her car beeped at her till he did. “I’m skipping Geometry. Mr. Smith is hot, but I despise math.” She rolled her eyes, hating the idea of being stuck in another class with numbers and letters.

Ben got into the car, grumbling slightly when the car chimed at him until he buckled up. He rolled his eyes about her comment on the teacher, almost every girl had the hots for Mr. Smith and Ben was finding it annoying. "Algebra." He shrugged, "math sucks."

Lillianna chuckled, “It fucking does.” She agreed, pulling out of the parking lot and onto the road, heading for the mall. “School is suffocating honestly, I can’t wait to graduate.” Though that did mean she was going to be married a few months after graduating, bye bye freedom, for the most part.

Ben nodded, glancing out the window and watching the scenery roll by. "I don't even want to graduate, I just want to get the hell out of here." He replied, but what common sense he had reminded him that if he were to drop out it would just make life even harder than it already was.

Lillianna rolled her eyes, “I’m not that smart, but I feel like a high school diploma is actually beneficial.” She pointed out, even if it wasn’t going to be of use to her, other than to say she at least graduated high school. “You could get your GED though.” That had been an option her mom had given her, and she had almost taken it, but her parents would have her under strict watch until she turned eighteen, a least here she had some freedom.

Ben just shrugged, he wanted to be free of stupid educational responsibilities, especially when he wasn't good at any of his classes and no one gave a shit to actually help him. They wrote him off as a lost cause and he had no problems with playing up to that image. "I guess," he replied, it's all just a pain."

Lillianna laughed, “I completely agree with you, I have no plans for college after,” She wasn’t going to tell him it was because she was going to be a trophy wife, but no one needed to know that. “I’m here because I can get away with having fun.” She admitted, which was true, and why she pulled into the parking lot of the mall.

Ben nodded, figuring he'd find a trade school or just start working somewhere and see where it went. "Yeah, same." He replied, though it wasn't the truth but he felt like saying his parents dumped him here so he wouldn't cause them trouble wasn't something you necessarily said to someone you just met.

Lillianna pulled into a parking spot and parked, reaching into the backseat for her backpack. “Well, either leave and do whatever, or stay around and have fun.” She smiled, laughing slightly as she turned off her car and got out. “I need a slushie.” She announced, knowing there was a small convenience store inside that sold candy, snacks, and her favorite flavor of slushie.

Ben frowned a little, not having much of an answer to give her. He got out of the car, pausing to look at her. "Red or blue?";-3 asked in terms of flavor of slushie.

Lillianna raised an eyebrow, “Well... I love both to be honest,” She admitted, walking to the trunk of her car where she tossed her backpack in and reached for her purse. “If I can, I like to mix the two,” especially if it was cherry and blue raspberry. “But if the place doesn’t let me, I usually get red.” She rolled her eyes when certain stores yelled at her for mixing the to colors, at least the one in the mall didn’t. “You?” she asked as she closed the trunk and headed for the nearest entrance.

Ben nodded, he didn't have anything against mixing flavors but he glanced at her when she said red and smirked, "good choice. I like red too." He said, glancing up at the mall and slowly walking with her.

Lillianna smirked when he said Red also, “Obviously, blue is pretty good, but not compared to red.” She was never sure what the flavor was, either cherry or strawberry. Either one was delicious, so it didn’t matter. “So, how long have you been going to this school?” she asked, heading through the doors that led through the side of the building nearest the convenience store.

Ben nodded, he wasn't much into any other flavors, finding the ones that were made to taste like soda made him want to gag. He glanced around as they walked inside, "for too long," he joked, "but it's my first year.. you?"

Lillianna giggled, though wondered how it could be for too long when it was his first year, though it came to her a second later that it was because he didn’t want to be in school. “First year for me too, I wanted a school by the beach though, in California.” She rolled her eyes at the fact that her dad just had to pick a school in the mountains with only one club in town, and no beach.

“For real, I could be skipping to the beach everyday instead of the mall,” Not that Lillianna hated the mall, but it got boring after a few visits. At least the beach had water, sand, and cute boys to ogle. “I’m from the great city of Vegas.” She informed him as she slipped into the convenience store, “You?”

Ben nodded, "at least there you could learn how to surf or whatever and could go out on boats, here you're kind of just...stuck." He said, at least that's how he felt so far. "I'm from Connecticut, basic ass Connecticut." He chuckled a little, glad he was at least away from the cookie cutter houses and stuck up families.

“Ugh, I knooow, and only one club to go to? Boring.” Lillianna shook her head and rolled her eyes, knowing she was being dramatic, but she enjoyed it. She chuckled, “Never been o Connecticut.” She liked places like Mexico or California, and even Colorado. Fun places, with lots places to go and fun things to do. She hoped to visit Europe after her wedding, being promised that she'd be headed their for her honeymoon by her mom, though that didn's ound as fun as with her friends.

Ben looked over at Lillianna, not much into clubs but he didn't mind going to parties since he could often sneak outside when it got too crowded, "yah, there isn't a lot here and Connecticut isn't that excited, it's just full of stuck up people." He said with a roll of his eyes then started to looked around the store, but wasn't that interested in getting anything, though a slushie did sound good.

Lillianna grabbed a bag of sour gummy worms before heading over to the slushie machine, “At least the house parties are fun,” She definitely made sure she didn’t miss one, though they were nothing like the hotel parties back home, but decent enough she had fun. She nodded to the cashier at the checkout as she placed her mixed slushie, her gummy worms, and a bottle of water. “I heard there’s a camp here that a lot of students go to before school, did you go?” It made her wonder whose parents hated their kids so much they never wanted to see them, or what students begged them to get away.

Ben nodded in agreement, "yeah, haven't gone to a bad one yet." He said and made himself a slushie, figuring he might as well and got in line behind Lillianna. Out of the corner of his eye he spotted a package of jerky and grabbed it. "Unfortunately yeah I did," he responded about the camp, having spent most of his time avoiding the stupid events and just exploring the forest.
