Audrey scrunched up her face, “The sitting around a bonfire pretending to be all cozy,” she rolled her eyes, though liked the idea of smores at least. “I can already see some loser bringing out a guitar, thinking they can play.” She shook her head, hating the fact that if she was drunk, she’d totally be over anyone playing an instrument.

"I mean if you have a bonfire at least you have smores." Tahlia said with a shrug, thinking at at least now if she ended up going to one of the bonfires she'd be able to eat as many as she wanted without her mom breathing down her neck and reminding her how each bite was going to make her gain weight. "Well of course there's going to be someone with a guitar, can't have camp without it." She joked.

“Smores are delicious, especially if they have Reese’s as an option.” It was Audrey’s favorite candy, she couldn’t get enough of it, though she wasn’t sure if this place would be boujee enough to have more than just plain chocolate bars. She rolled her eyes at the image of someone with a guitar, “Only enjoyable if I’m drunk.” She joked, laughing and shaking her head.

"Reeses? Now that sounds like a great idea." Tahlia replied, having stuck to the typical chocolate bar when making smores, not thinking out of the box but now she was wondering what she was missing out on. "Everything's way more enjoyable when drunk." She joked along with Audrey, knowing it also lead to some bad decisions but those often became good memories.

Audrey gaped at Tahlia, though the corner of her lips curled into a smile, “So glad we are on the same page, so, we’ll need to stock up on some liquor then.” She chewed her lower lip as she debated on how to get such a thing, though debated on buying some tonight when they snuck into town. “Or where we could hide it.” That would be the next problem to tackle, but one thing at a time, that’s how Audrey worked.

Tahlia couldn't stop herself from grinning at the look on Audrey's face. "There has to be a loose floor board somewhere in our cabin that we can hide our stash under." She said, figuring it would be near impossible for there not to be with kids cycling through the cabins who made places to hide stuff." She looked around and started walking again, wondering if they were really going to complete their hunt.

“Ooo, such a fucking Genius, want to ditch this scavenger hunt and go search the cabin?” Audrey figured she could search it before they snuck out, but she was already over this scavenger hunt, and it served it’s purpose in the fact that she did make a friend, even if this felt like something for little kids to do.

"Oh? You didn't want to go 'accidentally' run into the blondie you were eyeballing before?" Tahlia couldn't help but tease Audrey, sure the girl could more than handle something silly like that. She didn't care about the scavenger hunt but flirting with a few boys wouldn't be the worst kind of distraction.

Audrey smirked, “I’d love that, but I think we lost them,” she pointed out, having not seen the guy she’d eyed at the beginning of the hunt. The thought of flirting and possibly locking lips was tempting, somewhat more tempting than searching the cabin for a hiding spot. “I wouldn’t mind trying to find him and his group of friends, still better than doing nothing,” She chuckled, though she still didn’t know which way he went. “Better than the scavenger hunt.” She added, knowing anything was better than doing this scavenger hunt.

"They shouldn't be too hard to find," Tahlia replied, glancing up the trail, "they're probably just up there a little ways." She guessed, thinking they couldn't have gotten too far ahead and that if they stuck to the main trails it wouldn't be hard to catch up. "Besides, if we don't find them we can just dip." She smirked a little.

Audrey smirked, “Alright, I’ll give it another ten minutes, not like the cabin is going anywhere soon.” She laughed, stuffing the scavenger list into the pocket of her shorts. “I wish we could dip completely out of this entire camp experience.” She rolled her eyes at the thought of her dad thinking this was a good idea for her, a way to keep herself from partying to hard she guessed, but she knew he had guessed wrong.

Tahlia snorted, Audrey talking like that making her briefly imagine there being an earthquake level the whole place or something else that would force them to leave this lame camp. "No joke." She replied, "but I don't think we're going to get that lucky." She said as she walked along the trail, tilting her head slightly when after a few minutes she heard some male voice drifting down towards them. "I think we might have some luck in finding them."

Audrey rolled her eyes dramatically, knowing she could only dream about leaving and just holding up in a hotel in town till class started, but she had a feeling her dad would fly down to personally put her back in the camp. “I feel like my dad thinks this camp will reform me somehow,” She couldn’t help but let out a short laugh at the thought. She perked up slightly when Tahlia pointed out that they might have found the guys they had spotted earlier. “Hopefully you are right, and they aren’t another group.” Though if they were cute, she wouldn’t object.

"If he was hoping for that he sent you to the wrong place," Tahlia snorted, "my mom was second from trying to send me to some military camp bullshit until my Dad convinced her not to." She said as they rounded a corner to reveal the group of guys from earlier, her eye brow raising, "well looks like I'm right." She whispered with a smirk.
Ahead Tyson stood with his arms crossed, frowning at a few of the guys who were arguing over the list of what they should do next, trying not to tell them to shut up and let him handle it. His brother had commented to him that he was a bit too controlling so he was trying to let go...just a little but so far it wasn't proving harder than he had expected. "What a waste of time." He muttered under his breath, glancing up towards the sky.

Audrey raised an eyebrow, “Good, I didn’t want to be reformed anyways,” She tilted her head back and laughed, wondering what her dad would say if he saw how she was planning to spend her first night at camp. She eyed the group of guys, most of them arguing over the stupid scavenger list, but she noted the guy she had eyed before wasn’t really joining in. She smirked, hoping this meant he wasn’t enjoying this scavenger hunt, and might want to find some other fun.
Darius picked up a rock and tossed it lightly into the air before throwing it across the lake, only skipping it three times. “Seriously, what’s the point of this stupid scavenger hunt.” He scoffed, searching and finding another flat rock to try and skip across the lake, though he wasn’t that great at it. His brother was better, his brother was always better at everything. Or at least was until his accident. He forced the horrible feeling down as he tossed the rock, not even skipping it once. “Let’s just leave, I’m sure there’s something more entertaining to do.” He turned towards Tyson, rolling his eyes.

"Neither did I." Tahlia snorted, thinking that maybe this wasn't going to be so bad after all. She looked over the group of guys, tilting her head, "there's your blondie." She teased, her gaze sliding over to the boy next to him that tried to skip a stone, watching as it sunk under the water and tried not to laugh, a smirk tugging up the corner of her mouth.
Tyson looked at Darius with a roll of his eyes, "it's better than being forced to make friendship bracelets or whatever bullshit they're going to try to make us do later." He replied dryly, about to turn away when he spotted two girls coming into the space, raising an eyebrow. "Well Darius, looks like your something more entertaining just showed up."

Audrey looked over towards Tyson, being obvious when she looked him up and down, though she had already guessed he was hot. She gave him a smile before turning to Tahlia, “Shall we, search the bank of the lake for animal tracks?” She was going to play it cool, planning to seem like they were there for the scavenger hunt rather than searching for boys.
Darius stopped caring about skipping the stones and turned to watch the group of guys he and Tyson had somehow gotten stuck with continue to argue about what type of animal track they had found, like it mattered for the scavenger hunt. “Hmm?” he asked, turning his attention towards the direction that Tyson was now looking towards. “Sweet, chicks are definitely more entertaining then this shitshow.” He nodded towards the arguing group still hovering over the animal track hat was clearly a wild cat of some kind.

Tahlia almost rolled her eyes at how obvious Audrey was being but she figured if he tactic worked she might as well let her do her thing. "I guess we shall," she said, wandering over to the bank of the lake, figuring if there would be any animal track-aside from the one being argued over-it would be best preserved in the mud, plus it brought them a little closer to the golden boy and his friend without being too too obvious. "Hopefully there isn't like, a bear around." She said, tapping her finger against her lower lip as if she was in deep thought.
Tyson caught Audrey staring from the corner of his eye but shifted his attention to Darius. "Yeah sure, have fun." He shrugged, not seeing the point in a summer fling. it wasn't like he had anything important to focus on, not like when he was at school, but he just didn't feel a draw towards hook ups and sometimes it made him wonder if something was wrong with him.

Audrey whipped her head towards Tahlia, her eyes widened a little, and her eyebrows furrowed into concern. “Are there bears out here?” She didn’t know jack shit about the area, didn’t really care to pay attention in geography class either, so she had no idea what states actually had bears. She didn’t understand how people saw them as cute, though she guessed the stuffed animal was. To her, they were terrifying.
Darius wasn’t about to let Tyson leave him, even though he didn’t hate the thought of talking to two girls. “Nah, we are going to have fun,” He said, wrapping his arm around his friend’s shoulder to keep him from leaving, “Buddy, you don’t have to go all the way, we’re just making friends.” Friends, he thought, they could make out with while at this camp. He needed a distraction and skipping stones and doing this stupid scavenger hunt was no help.

"Uh, I would assume so, we're in a forest." Tahlia shrugged, doubting that a bear would come so close when the camp was full of people, or at least there would be some kind of precaution put in place to keep them away. Then again...maybe if too many bears came around they'd have to close down the camp. "Bears, mountain lions, bob cats, raccoons, whatever."
Tyson held back a grown from the weight of Darius's arm around him resisting the urge to slip out from beneath it. "Yeah yeah sure." He replied. Darius, as much as he didn't want to admit it, had a point. This was summer camp, it wasn't like it was going to affect his college application. "And I wasn't thinking about sleeping with someone but of course your mind would go there." He joked.

Audrey was used to city life, a few years of the suburban life, the only animal you really had to worry about was racoons digging in your trash, and she found them kind of cute. Bears, mountain lions, bob cats, those slightly terrified her. “I hope nothing comes this way,” She mumbled, though eyeing the big-pawed tracks in the mud now had her more worried about what would be stalking them at night then making out with the blond hottie.
Darius shrugged, his mind usually going to dark corners of his brain, he wasn’t going to deny it when it went dirty. “How could I not with two hot chicks, I’m sure they might also have great personalities, if that’s what you’re into.” He smirked, walking up to the two girls peering down at the lake’s edge. “Hello ladies are you two doing the scavenger hunt too?” hHeknew they had to be, if they were looking for animal tracks, it was on the list.

"I doubt they will and if anything does it'll probably be at ight when everyone's asleep." Tahlia replied and took out her phone, about to take a picture when someone spoke and looked up to see the blonde boy with an equally attractive friend in front of them. Her lips curved into a slight smile, "unfortunately, are you?"
Tyson held back a sigh as he followed Darius over, tucking his hands into his pocket as he glanced between the girls then at the track, "whatever that is, it's too small to be a bear, it's probably from a coyote or fox." He offered with a shrug.

Audrey eyed Tyson from the side, hoping he was right, at least foxes were kind of adorable, and she knew they were definitely more afraid of her than she was of them. “Have you seen a bear before?” She asked, feeling like she had to agree on the pawprints, they didn’t look big enough to be a bear. She turned towards the two boys, her eyes flitting to Darius before falling on Tyson, her smile returning to her face.
Darius chuckled, “Yeah, we started it, but kind of found it boring.” Though there wasn’t that much to do while they waited for a stupid bonfire he was already planning to skip, and all the fun activities wouldn’t start till tomorrow. He couldn’t wait to hit the biking trails, do some ATV riding, and maybe try out kayaking.

Tyson looked at Audrey, hesitating slightly when she saw her smile, suddenly feeling slightly unsure of himself. A feeling that he quickly decided he didn't like. "Only once when picking berries." He replied, turning his focus to the memory, "my grandpa took me a couple years ago...that was the first and last time we did that." He slightly smiled, trying to ignore the unsureness.
"Yeah...I don't think there's much that can make a scavenger hunt fun," Tahlia replied, "though I guess something good might come out of it." She added with a slight smirk as she looked at Darius.

Audrey’s eyes went a little wide at Tyson’s story, not able to imagine how scared she’d be if she was in his place. She frowned slightly though, when he mentioned it was the first and last time for berry hunting. “I hope I avoid all the bears.” She wasn’t planning to ask him what he had meant, not wanting to go into that deep of a discussion off the bat, she wanted to stop talking about bears altogether. “So, are you two looking for help?”
Darius noted the smirk and hoped this girl was thinking along the same lines as him. “Depends on what that something is,” he watched over the girls’ shoulders as their first main group started walking away, off to finish what they started, though he didn’t care about the list, now that they had found something way more interesting.

"Well don't go berry picking or too far out in the woods and you should be fine." Tyson tried to joke, it was true but he knew that bears would still come into camp if they were desperate enough. He scratched the back of his head when she asked if they needed help, smiling a little, "we weren't really taking it that seriously, we were just killing time."
Tahlia noticed the way his gaze shifted and glanced behind herself to see the others in the clearing leaving but turned her attention back to Darius, "definitely something better than a scavenger hunt," she tilted her head slightly, "something that could involve the two of us having some fun?"

“I’ll keep that in mind,” Though Audrey had no plans to go berry picking ever. Her smile grew when he said they were just wasting time with the scavenger hunt. “What a coincidence, so are we, I can’t believe they would, um,” she said, looking over her shoulder at the retreating group of boys that seemed to not even notice she and Tahlia were there. “Entertain teenagers.” She chuckled, seeing how maybe a few boys could be happy with such a silly game.
Darius liked where this girl was going, “I can definitely think of a lot of things the two of us could have some fun.” Though he eyed Tyson from the side, wondering if the guy would go along with being left alone with the brunette. She seemed like she’d be a good time, if he was up for it, though he could just as easily walk away too.

Tyson nodded slowly, "it probably would have worked if we were like little kids or if they added some kind of challenge to it," he shrugged, not sure what kind of challenge it would even be if there was one. "And it's not like they have some great prize or something that I know of." His gaze flickered to their so called friends that were walking away but didn't make a move to follow, seeing that Darius was still staying behind as well.
"Oh?" Tahlia slowly smiled, looking up at him through her lashes, "care to share what those thoughts are?" She asked, taking the moment to glance at Audrey, hoping she was having some luck before looking back at Darius.

“Maybe they just used the same scavenger hunt no matter the age,” Audrey thought, guessing little kids didn’t really need a prize to do it, though there should have been for the older kids. “Too bad they didn’t think to hand out alcohol or free pass into town prizes. I’d be all over that.” She chuckled, not caring what was going on between Darius and Tahlia. She was sure she’d find out later when she asked Tahlia for details.
When Tyson didn’t look over at him or seem to be running away, he focused his attention on the chick. “Well, there’s a pretty sweet makeout spot by the boathouse, if one should be interested.” He hadn’t introduced himself, but he was kind of enjoying the mystery of her not knowing his name.

"Seems lazy." Tyson said dryly, raising an eyebrow, "I don't think they'd hand out alcohol to a bunch of minors, that just sounds like a law suit." He pointed out, but passes for prizes in town would be something worthy. "You'd think with how expensive they made these places they'd put more effort into the stuff they do." He at least knew it was expensive thanks to the stress of having to keep up his grades to keep his scholarship to the school in place.
"The boathouse?" Tahlia tilted her head, tapping her finger tip against her cheek as if she was deep in thought, "as tempting as that sounds I heard there's an even better spot a bit farther up the trail that gives a good view of the lake." She mused, wondering if he'd want to go to that place.
